Who is Ele’s Tiramisu
Nice to meet you, I’m Ele!
It all started a few years ago. One of the crazy nights when you chat about life with your husband and think maybe we can give this a try! My background is creative design (my full-time job for more than 15 years) and my husband’s has always been (and still is!) music.
Definitely a crazy idea.
But I have always had a passion for desserts and all things sweet, and my friends used to love my tiramisu at dinner parties, Gianluca, my husband has always had a thing for startups so here we are a few years later.
We took it VERY slow, making a few batches from our tiny kitchen in our flat in Crystal Palace and started selling them to small delis. This was after our day jobs, during the evenings (nights to be honest!)
And after doing that for a while and after having our first child and then our second (maternity leaves in between have helped!) I decided I had to give this a proper try not going back to my day job and renting a commercial kitchen, so here we are! It has been quite the journey so far, ups and downs and all the in betweens but we do love a challenge and we still love all things sweet!
